Handy Credit Card Reminder

A great tip I learnt last week to stop you overusing your credit card is to write a reminder on the card itself.

This is a terrific idea.

Get a marker pen and write a reminder message on the front of the card on why you shouldn’t be using it to get further in to debt.

That message is a reminder of more important goals than spending on a frivolous item.

For example the message could be;

. focus on paying mortgage

. Disneyland promise to kids

. superannuation is better

. this will cost me 18%

Some people even wrap their credit card in a picture of their kids so when they use it they think about the impact on the family.
